ABIR welcomes Lockton Re as new member 

Hamilton, Bermuda (September 9, 2021) — The Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers (ABIR) is pleased to welcome Lockton Re, the reinsurance arm of the world’s largest independent insurance broker, as a new member. 

Lockton Re has joined ABIR’s Broker Advisory Cabinet, a body that allows for collaborative efforts among Bermuda’s leading re/insurers and brokers to sustain the island’s successful international re/insurance market.

A privately held independent insurance broker with an entrepreneurial culture, Lockton Re launched a new office in Bermuda in June this year, led by Jonathan (Jonty) Davies, its CEO. 

With the addition of Lockton Re, ABIR’s membership climbs to the highest number in the organization’s 28-year history.
